Former prosecutors from throughout the city came together to celebrate Jose’s historic campaign for Queens District Attorney. Jose told his supporters that he is the best candidate for Queens District Attorney because his professional experience in multiple jurisdictions gives him a very comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system and how to reconstruct it from the ground up. Jose explained that his personal experience growing up in one of the toughest neighborhoods in New York City has given him a deeper understanding of the injustices and inequalities in our criminal justice system.
