WVIP 93.5 Interview

Jose Nieves does an interview with WVIP 93.5 FM, New York City’s Afro-Caribbean radio station. Jose explained that he was running for Queens District attorney because he wants to reconstruct the Criminal Justice system to make it more fair, just and equal for everyone in Queens. Jose wants to stop mass incarceration, stop criminalizing low level marijuana possession, and stop criminalizing poverty. He will institute a Immigration hardship Plea Policy, bail reform and focus the approximately 300 prosecutors on prosecuting violent crimes, sexual assaults, domestic violence, hate crimes, human trafficking, public corruption, fraud and the illegal sale and distribution of guns and drug in Queens communities.
